The newest issue of Peace In Our Times is now available for order! This paper is a powerful way to manifest and spread the mission we all believe in – of ending war as an instrument of national policy. And this Winter issue is packed with nonviolent peace-making dynamite, including a large spread of VFP at Standing Rock.
We are hoping every chapter will order at least one bundle for distribution. We have over 100 chapters, and besides spreading our mission, this is a way that you can get word out and build your chapter. There is a box at the lower left hand corner – that is where each chapter or individual can put their contact information. It is a great opportunity!
The mission of the tour is to address the legacies of America’s war, as well as visit a beautiful country & form lasting ties of friendship & peace; therefore each tour participant is asked to bring a minimum of $1,000 as a donation. The money will go to VFP Chapter 160’s humanitarian projects in Việt Nam: bomb clearance, chemical warfare victims, hospitals, orphanages, schools, etc. The group will visit recovery & assistance projects supported by VFP & meet with Việt Namese families & war veterans struggling with: Agent Orange/Dioxin, Unexploded Ordinance & Poverty.

Veterans For Peace appreciates your generous donations.
We also encourage you to join our ranks.

This space is dedicated to the proposition that we need to know the history of the struggles on the left and of earlier progressive movements here and world-wide. If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. We will be reviewing books, CDs, and movies we believe everyone needs to read, hear and look at as well as making commentary from time to time. Greg Green, site manager
