*Labor's Untold Story- The Unemployed Councils In Washington State In The 1930s- A Case Study

The unemployed councils actually drove much of the early work in the great Toledo Auto-Lite Strike of 1934. More on this later as I get better sources. Needless to say the fate of the unemployed is a current (in 2009) pressing issue which a look a history can cast a light on.
