Help Free Bradley Manning- Bid On Artwork

Courtroom art auction to raise funds for Bradley’s defense

The Bradley Manning Support Network is pleased to announce that courtroom artists Kay Rudin, Clark Stoeckley, and Debra Van Poolen are auctioning off artwork which they have produced while observing the court martial of Pfc. Bradley Manning. This week features art from Debra. New items will be added each week so check back often as we lead into the July 27 worldwide call to action!
The online auction will last three weeks, beginning July 9 and ending July 29. Each week new pieces will be added. The auction is timed to lead up to and encompass an International Day of Action on July 27 when people around the globe will demonstrate their support for Bradley. The majority of the money raised in the online auction will be donated to the Bradley Manning Support Network legal defense and publicity funds, as well as promote awareness of the trial for all of the viewers of the auction items. The items in the auction are all pictured below, with links to the ebay sites where bidders can place their bids on and keep track of the artwork for sale.

Debra Van Poolen

Debra Van Poolen, 44, is an artist, permaculturist and activist. Currently, Debra is taking on the role of courtroom artist, covering each day of the court martial of Bradley Manning for three main purposes. First, due to the mainstream media near blackout of the trial, leaving very few artists to cover the trial, Debra sought to supply the need for more courtroom artists daily recording the important events of this unprecedented occasion in US history. Second, Debra is hoping her drawings will highlight the humanity of each person involved with the trial, especially the vulnerability of the 25-year old Bradley Manning who could face the extreme sentence of life in prison or even the death penalty. Third, Debra intends that each of her drawings and paintings serve as yet another motivation for their viewers and purchasers to promote justice in this court martial.
80 percent of the profits made from the sales in this auction will be donated to the Bradley Manning Support Network to be used for the legal defense fund and publicity of Bradley’s case.

ANY PERSON WHO SHALL DEMONTRATE AID, COMPASSION OR COMFORT TO A KNOWN TRAITOR, SHALL BE DEEMED A TRAITOR THEMSELVES.

THEREFORE, DEBRA van POOLER is a TRAITOR!!! By supporting BRADLEY MANNING and selling art work to support his defense, she is now a TRAITOR.

ANY person who purchases any art work from this TRAITOR is also committing TREASON as well!!!

Hey Debra, if that mindless excuse for a person is calling you a traitor, than I am a traitor too!
Anyone that has their head so deep in the sand, that doesn't know what this trial is all about, and is coward enough not to even sign their comment...needs to wake up!
So, I say thank you, Debra, for all your time and beautiful pictures.
It was a pleasure meeting you at the trial, and I say, "Free Bradley Manning!"
    peace,
    Rose Zacchi
