You can’t keep a good idea
down. As much as pundits try to declare Marxism dead, it's coming back again.
Why? Because it is the best way to understand the insanity of a world governed
by an unrelenting drive to profit, and it is a roadmap to fight for a better
world. We know that if we let capitalism run its course, it will lead to ruin.
The only alternative is to take back the immense wealth accumulated by a tiny
minority at the expense of the majority, and use it to democratically serve
human need rather than corporate greed. We call that alternative
socialism. Join us for a discussion of the problems we face today and the sort
of movement we need to solve them. Featured speaker:
Shaun Harkin, an activist in Chicago and frequent contributor to the
International Socialist Review Hosted by the International Socialist
Organization
