REPORT BACK FROM WILPF’S 100TH ANNIVERSARY MEETINGS & CELEBRATIONS IN THE HAGUE The Oldest Women’s Peace Organization Looks to the Future   WHEN: Thursday May 21, 6:30 – 9:00 pm 6:30 pm – mingling and light refreshments 7:15 pm Program   WHERE: The Walker Center - 171 Grove St (Parking Lot side), Auburndale, Newton, MA 02466 (directions on their web site http://walkerctr.org/directions ) ON PUBLIC TRANSIT: Green Line (D branch) to Riverside Station, take left out of Station to Grove Street. It is a 10 minute walk to the Walker Center at the Intersection of Hancock and Grove Streets. Women from our local branch and Wellesley College students attended the events in late April, thanks in part to the contributions several of you made through our February 25th fundraiser featuring Jane Addams biographer Louise W. Knight. We scheduled this report back with the students' availability in mind – they have been in finals and a number of them will be graduating this semester. United for Justice with Peace is a coalition of peace and justice organizations and community peace groups in the Greater Boston region. The UJP Coalition, formed after September 11th, seeks global peace through social and economic justice.
