On #GivingTuesday- Will YOU give to Veterans For Peace In The Struggle Against The War Clouds Rising?

www.veteransforpeace.org

This year, VFP has joined the #GivingTuesday campaign, a global day dedicated to giving back. This 24-hour event encourages us all to invest in causes that matter most to us. We have set a goal of raising $5,000 in 24 hours.

Will YOU give to Veterans For Peace?

Veterans For Peace is an international organization made up of military veterans, military family members, and allies. We are dedicated to building a culture of peace, exposing the true costs of war, and healing the wounds of war. As military veterans we know the full cost of war. Help us move our nation from waging endless war to waging peace.

On Tuesday December 1st, you can join the thousands of people who have come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity and to give.

With the shadows of war growing, the efforts of veterans working for peace are needed more than ever. We need your support to continue our work.

Will YOU help us get there?

HELPING IS AS EASY AS 1- 2- 3

  1. Forward this message to all of your family members and friends who will want to contribute to VFP’s vital work!
  2. Return to our donation page on December 1st to help us reach our goal of $5,000! Your donation will help us sustain our work in 2016.
  3. Share our donation page on social media! Use the hashtags #GivingTuesday and #VeteransForPeace

Statement of Purpose

  • We, having dutifully served our nation, do hereby affirm our greater responsibility to serve the cause of world peace. To this end we will work, with others
  • To increase public awareness of the costs of war
  • To restrain our government from intervening, overtly and covertly, in the internal affairs of other nations
  • To end the arms race and to reduce and eventually eliminate nuclear weapons
  • To seek justice for veterans and victims of war
  • To abolish war as an instrument of national policy.

To achieve these goals, members of Veterans For Peace pledge to use non-violent means and to maintain an organization that is both democratic and open with the understanding that all members are trusted to act in the best interests of the group for the larger purpose of world peace.

We need your support.
Donate to Veterans For Peace!

Be fearless in the face of war. Support a peace organization that can make a difference. Donate to Veterans For Peace. Peace is possible. It is hard, but it is cheaper in blood and national treasure than war.
