This space is dedicated to the proposition that we need to know the history of the struggles on the left and of earlier progressive movements here and world-wide. If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. We will be reviewing books, CDs, and movies we believe everyone needs to read, hear and look at as well as making commentary from time to time. Greg Green, site manager

Happy New Year From Warrior Writers-From The Gals And Gals Who Know All About War-Join The Resistance
Happy holidays! We hope you have enjoyed time with your loved ones, while also making time for yourself for writing, reading, making art, or whatever helps you feel whole. Because of you, our veterans have been able to do just that this year, please continue to support our work by donating today.
As 2016 comes to a close, we reflect on a few of our successes:
We created a Bay Area Warrior Writers community
We held our first female veteran workshop series in Philly
We supported veteran leadership by providing trainings and mentorship
We shined on stage at The Kimmel Center in downtown Philadelphia
Next year we turn ten years old! We invite you and your friends to celebrate our birthday with us! We will reveal our exciting plans next month--and give you a chance to share your ideas for making our birthday an even bigger success.
We have made a real difference in the lives of hundreds of veterans over the last ten years. We couldn't do it without you.
