AMERICAN LEFT HISTORY

This space is dedicated to the proposition that we need to know the history of the struggles on the left and of earlier progressive movements here and world-wide. If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. Hi everyone,

We hope you're all staying healthy and making time for writing, getting outside and visiting family and friends. It's a stressful time for many (politics) and we encourage you not to dwell on the negatives.

That said, we want to make this year--Warrior Writers' ten year birthday--our biggest and most successful yet. We're trying to reach as many veterans and service members as possible this year, in an effort to strengthen our community. Would you like to help us make it happen?

While we've got some great programming already lined up for 2017, we're currently brainstorming more Warrior Writers ten year birthday events. We'll be holding a conference call on March 9 at 8 PM (EST) for anyone in our community to call in and share ideas, resources, etc. No matter where you live, or what you have to offer, we're open to your ideas and we want to hear from you!
