Working people are getting priced out of cities across the country, and with Trump promising massive tax breaks to the billionaire class things stand to get worse. We need to build a fighting political alternative, based on the needs of working people and free from corporate cash. In Minneapolis this year, there’s just that candidate - Ginger Jentzen for City Council. Ginger’s the socialist who led the successful fight to win the Midwest’s first $15/hr minimum wage.
And big business and profit hungry developers will spend big to defeat her. In fact, a millionaire downtown developer, Steve Minn, has set up a PAC, investing a personal war chest of $12,000 to clear the way for transforming Minneapolis into a profit factory for developers and a city affordable only for the rich.
Let’s stop Minn and the developers from buying this election.

Steve Minn, a repeat donor to Republican candidates who engages in shady business practices to maximize his profits at the expense of working people, is a glaring example of what’s wrong when the “let the market handle it” mantra prevails.
We need elected officials that big developers can’t buy. Ginger refuses to take donations from corporate executives and developers. It’s no coincidence that she's the only candidate in Ward 3 who is also clear about supporting taxing big developers to build affordable housing, and passing Rent Control to stop skyrocketing rents.
