Concerns about cuts at the VA to pay for Non-VA care

VHPI Steering Committee Members and Fellows attended the Veterans for Peace and American Legion conventions in Minneapolis last week. A panel was held on increased privatization of VA services and how to pay for it. “Congress has to allocate additional funding, specifically earmarked to fund the VA Mission Act,” said VHPI's Suzanne Gordon. “If they don’t, every dollar spent on more expensive lower quality, private sector care will come out of the Veteran Administration’s budget.”
