If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. The incoming Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, Jerrold Nadler, has now described Trump's direction of payments to Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougal to silence them before the 2016 election as "impeachable offenses." A former White House Counsel for President Nixon, John Dean, was recently quoted in the Washington Post, saying that Congress will have little choice but to begin impeachment. Congresswoman-Elect Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was asked this month whether seeking Trump's impeachment is premature. “Not to me,” she replied. Not to us either. In fact it's long since overdue.
