Politics is funny, sometimes. In this extremely racially-conscious society, as Glen Ford from "Black Agenda" pointed out recently, white leftists, or some white leftists, have been hesitant to challenge a black...anything, actually, but in this case a black president, fearing a charge of racism. This in a "post-racial" world, right? In any case, for what it is worth, it is very good to have black voices, who are under pressures of their own, from their own, to brand Obama for the very effective imperialist too that he is.
