Boston Common-Aug. 3, 2013: Here are photos and a short video I took of the monthly Women's International League For Peace and Freedom march against drone warfare; they joined up with the weekly Comm. For Peace and Human Rights vigil at Park St. in Boston . The WILPF members wore white masks to symbolize the people killed by US drones-also, they wheeled along a scale model of a drone. A lot of interest was generated in the public passersby, many of whom stopped to listen to the speakers and take photos. Also, one of our members John displayed a MAD Magazine poster of Obama dressed as the Drone (Lone) Ranger. Excellent satire.
