The strike
actions, rallies, and marches on December 4th were the largest ever since fast
food workers went out on strike in fall 2012 demanding $15 and a
union.
The
movement for a $15 minimum wage is gaining tremendous momentum as workers,
inspired by the victories in SeaTac, Seattle, and San Francisco, look to bring
$15 to their cities.
Tom
Morello from Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, and The Nightwatchman was an
early endorser of 15 Now, and recently played a benefit concert to help raise
money to build a national movement for $15.
