PoliticsStephen Kinzer is an author, U.S. foreign policy analyst, and award-winning foreign correspondent who has covered more than 50 countries on five continents. He spent over 20 years with The New York Times, posted in Central America, Berlin, and Istanbul. His books include All the Shah’s Men: An American Coup and The Roots of Middle East Terror. He writes a column for The Boston Globe and is a Senior Fellow at the Watson Institute for International Studies at Brown University.
Valentine Moghadam is Professor of International Affairs and Sociology, Northeastern University and Director of its Middle East Studies Program and International Affairs Program. Born in Tehran, she is author of Modernizing Women: Gender and Social Change in the Middle East and Globalization and Social Movements: Islamism, Feminism, and the Global Justice Movement
