This space is dedicated to the proposition that we need to know the history of the struggles on the left and of earlier progressive movements here and world-wide. If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. Medea Benjamin’s national book tour comes to Boston on Oct. 21: An expose of an insidious relationship that is devastating the Middle East and South Asia

Author and activist Medea Benjamin will talk on October 21 on her new book, Kingdom of the Unjust: Beyond the U.S.-Saudi Connection. Benjamin is cofounder of CODEPINK and the international human rights organization Global Exchange.
