In a Time of Heightened Repression

This year marks the ninety-first anniversary of the August 23, 1927 execution of Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, both immigrant working class activists and anarchists.

This week two events are scheduled to honor these martyrs. We invite and encourage you to attend one or both.

Please join encuentro5 community and friends in honoring Sacco and Vanzetti on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 7:pm.  The program will include presentations from on-the-ground activists in Chile (our own Sergio Reyes), India and material from the forthcoming “A People's Guide to Greater Boston”. 9A Hamilton Pl. Boston (across from Park Street train station *Green/Red lines)

Please join the Sacco and Vanzetti Society and the Dante Alighieri Society of Cambridge in honoring and commemorating Sacco and Vanzetti on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 7:pm. The program will include film “We Still Remember: A look at the case that rocked Boston and the world from 1920-1927" at the Alighieri Auditorium at 41 Hampshire St. Cambridge, MA 02139 (Kendall/MIT train station Redline)
