In Boston Stand In Solidarity  

Fast food workers across the country are going ON STRIKE Thursday, September 4. We know that we have momentum on our side. We know that people like you have our backs. And we're committed to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to get $15 an hour and the right to form a union without retaliation. Can we count on you to stand with us in Boston on Thursday? Me, I'm willing to do whatever it takes because I'm barely surviving on the poverty wages I make at Burger King. Even working two jobs, it's a struggle for me just to afford the bus fare to get to and from work.  I'm taking action because I know that if I don’t stand up and fight for what I believe in, for what’s right, that nobody else will and nothing will ever change. This is our moment. Fast food workers across the country are starting to experience that – what it feels like to fight for better pay and better treatment – and it’s amazing to see.
