DR. KHALILAH BROWN DEAN is Associate Professor of Political Science at Quinnipiac University. Her research focuses on the political dynamics of the American criminal justice system and the issue of voter rights. She has a book coming out titled “Once Convicted, Forever Doomed: Race Punishment, and Governance.” |
CARLTON WILLIAMS, ESQ is a staff attorney for the
ACLU of Massachusetts since 2013. He is a member of the National Lawyers GHuild
and has served on its Massachusetts Board. A longtime resident of Roxbury, he
has been an activist and organizer on issues of war, immigrants' rights, LGBT
rights, racial justice and Palestinian self-determination. He is a member of the
recently formed Member Boston Coalition for Police
Accountability.
