This space is dedicated to the proposition that we need to know the history of the struggles on the left and of earlier progressive movements here and world-wide. If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. Investigative reporter Gareth Porter unravels the whole web of lies and fabrications that have formed the basis of a false narrative about a lengthy and active pursuit by Iran of a clandestine nuclear weapons program.

The Obama administration is demanding that as part of a final nuclear deal, Iran must 'resolve concerns' about claims that are based on falsified intelligence. It's now more important for everyone to understand how and why the Iran nuclear crisis was pumped up and has been going on for so long.
