Militants who want to go further need to read Leon Trotsky's three volume, "History Of The Russian Revolution", and a myriad of other older and current views, friendly and hostile. But here is the basic outline of the issues that you will, of necessity, have to confront and have to address in your struggle to understand an important part of our common revolutionary history.
