The civil war continues in Syria. Although a threat of a U.S. missile attack against Syria was averted, the raging civil war continues. The massive outpouring of anti-war sentiment from the people in every corner of the country and around the world prevented a US military strike.
Our victory was clear, but our work is far from over. What is the situation now? Next steps to fundamentally change US foreign policy in the region?

P.S.-Yesterday commemorates the 12th anniversary of the Afghanistan War. We opposed the invasion from the start and have worked tirelessly to end the occupation. Because of your help, troops are slowly leaving now, with plans for most of them to be home by the end of next. We will continue to push the administration to bring all troops home as soon as possible.
