Standout and Rally Black Friday November 28th 12:00 PM K-Mart, Assembly Square, Somerville RSVP ON FACEBOOK Surveys and statements from across multiple states have revealed that K-Mart Management and HR have recently intimidated retail workers at their stores by denying requests off for Thanksgiving, by telling the workers to come in or be fired!  As part of the national Black Friday demonstrations by retail workers in big box stores, 15 Now New England will be holding a standout showing K-Mart that we stand with workers having paid holiday time and $15/hr wages.  Workers' families deserve respect! Let's stand up and tell K-Mart Management they're fired! 15 Now New England has been on the streets since early 2014. Recently, we led the campaign to Vote 'Yes' on advisory Ballot Question 5 in the 10th Suffolk District of Massachusetts, for $15 an hour minimum wage, which passed with 63%.
