In the upcoming
weeks, Congressional hawks plan to push for new sanctions on Iran. These new
sanctions would disrupt the most successful nuclear talks to occur between the
two countries and would undermine any diplomatic progress that has been made.
Please ask Senators Markey and Warren not to co-sponsor, and to vote against,
any legislation that would place new sanctions on Iran, because they will damage
current negotiations while also preventing a peaceful outcome. Sen. Warren is
on the Banking Committee, where the agreement-busting sanctions resolution is
