Uniting the Fight for 15 with the Anti-Racist Movement
Public Meeting

Thursday, January 15th
6:30 PM
Dudley Square Library

For months now, people of all ages and backgrounds have been taking to the streets to stand up against the racist system of oppression that claimed the lives of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, among countless others.

At the same time, for the past several years, low wage workers in cities across the country have been taken on direct action and strikes to demand an end to poverty wages and the institution of a $15 an hour minimum wage and the right to form a union without retaliation.

The Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 60s gained much of its success from uniting the struggle for racial justice with the struggle for economic justice for poor and working people.

Please come join 15 Now and Socialist Alternative for a discussion on the Anti-Racist movement, the Fight for 15 and how we can unite the goals of these movements to broaden them out into a winning struggle against the system of racial and economic exploitation.
