We will hold vigils daily Monday-Friday March 28th to April 1st , during rush hour commute:6:00-8:00 am and 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Each day has a variety activities, teach-ins, and workshops planned. As part of Shut Down Creech, there will be a symposium on Drone Warfare on Wednesday night, Inside Drone Warfare: Perspectives of Whistleblowers, Families of Drone Victims and Their Lawyers. This event will be held at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and will be open to the public. VFP members will attempt to deliver a letter to drone operators and base personnel, informing them of their options and welcoming them to our community of veterans and allies who are opposed to endless war. Camp Justice:
Camp Justice will be set up all week! Tents, Camper vehicles, and vans are all welcome. Port-a potties and outdoor showers will be available all week long.
Santa Fe Station Hotel: We have reserved a number of rooms at the Santa Fe Station Hotel for a discounted rate (Use Code: ACIVETS). You can choose between Deluxe King Room (1 king bed) or Deluxe Queen Room (2 queen beds) at this discounted rate. This rate is open to both veterans and non-veterans.

This space is dedicated to the proposition that we need to know the history of the struggles on the left and of earlier progressive movements here and world-wide. If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society.
