Unite with veterans and VA healthcare workers in a Save the VA Call In Day! On March 1st 2018, veterans, unions and concerned community members came together in Chicago to discuss VA healthcare as part of the Right To Heal VA Campaign's first public event. The response was a resounding “No” to efforts to further privatize the VA. Right Wing forces funded by the Koch brothers, via their “Concerned Veterans of America” are currently pushing two bills in congress that would expand voucher choice programs at the expense of VA care. We need your help to Save The VA. Right to Heal has organized a call in day to push back on this agenda and we need you to call Illinois Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth along with your congressional representative to let them know you oppose efforts to privatize the VA and that you are against Senate Bill 2193 and House Bill 4242 that would expand privatization.  There are problems with the VA, but the solution is a fully funded, supported and safely staffed VA. The VA is an excellent healthcare provider and privatization has proven a failure over and over again and veterans do not want privatization.
