VFP Unites to Protest Bradley Manning's 1,000 Days of Imprisonment!

This week marks 1,000 days of imprisonment without trial for Bradley Manning. Veterans For Peace chapters are participating in national and international actions, also beginning our 100-day Countdown to Brad's much delayed court martial, now scheduled to begin on June 1st.

VFP will mobilize a large veterans presence at Fort Meade, Maryland, on June 1, and we will remain there throughout the Army's court martial of Manning, probably into July.

Actions Planned in Over 40 Cities
Here is the latest list of actions from the Bradley Manning Support Network. These do not yet include all the actions being planned by VFP chapters on or near February 23. It does include actions planned by the new VFP chapters in the UK and Ireland.

To have your action added to the list, contact Emma Cape at Emma@bradleymanning.org.

Have Your Photo Taken with Bradley
Get together with VFP members and friends and take a photo with a sign or banner supporting Bradley (and maybe an image of Bradley).

Send your photos to the VFP national office, to shelly@veteransforpeace.org. Shelly will gather all photos into a Flicker album and post them on the VFP website. This is a really simple and fun way to show Bradley we will be there for him.
