Hit the Streets on Armistice Day - Nov 11th!

This Armistice Day Veterans For Peace calls for justice and peace at home and abroad.  Veterans For Peace is calling on all our members to take a stand for peace this Armistice Day.  We are calling on all our friends and allies to join us at the barricades of peace on Nov 11.

Join VFP and Allies on November 9th in Washington DC to Protest Netanyahu Visit!

The infamous war criminal Binyamin Netanyahu has once again been invited to Washington to meet with President Obama and Congressional leaders. Netanyahu is responsible, among other crimes against humanity, for the murderous 2014 assault on Gaza, that took the lives of 2,100 people including 500 children, wounded more than 10,000 and left hundreds of thousands homeless.

Nov 6 - International Day for Preventing the Exploitation of the Environment in War and Armed Conflict

The United Nations attaches great importance to ensuring that action on the environment is part of conflict prevention, peacekeeping and peacebuilding strategies - because there can be no durable peace if the natural resources that sustain livelihoods and ecosystems are destroyed.  <More>

Tribute to Michael Clift

This week the national office learned that nomad veteran member, Michael Clift was killed after being struck by a SUV in Texas.  At this time, we do not have memorial details or requests from his family.  Please keep his family in your prayers.
VFP board member Joey King has written a songin memory of Michael Clift.  The song should be sung to the tune of  John Henry's The Steel Driving Man.
In this video, Veterans March For Peace, you can see Michael's passion for peace.
Michael Clift, Presente!
