This space is dedicated to the proposition that we need to know the history of the struggles on the left and of earlier progressive movements here and world-wide. If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. Trump hasn't even taken office yet and hundreds of thousands of people have already hit the streets to fight against his racist, sexist, and corporate agenda.

Join us this Thursday night at Northeastern University (Shillman Hall, Room 135) for a discussion titled Fighting Racism and Sexism Under Trump on the way forward for Black Lives Matter and the women's movement under President Trump. We will hear from a New York City BLM and Socialist Alternative activist and a female Northeastern Socialist Students organizer, followed by an open discussion.
