In Boston- Armisitice Day For Peace 2016 (#Reclaim Armistice Day)

Hello Smedley's & family,
Armistice Day 2016 is this Friday. We have a wonderful program this year with 2 keynotes speakers, a packed musical selection, and many very talented poets.
This year, we will honor Veterans by Reclaiming Armistice Day as a day for Peace. Armistice Day was intended to celebrate the end of war by honoring Peace and today and for every Armistice Day For Peace forward, Veterans For Peace will celebrate Peace by honoring those who Peacefully end war.
The Armistice Day For Peace parade will form at the Corners of Beacon St. & Charles St. (Boston Common) We will step off shortly after the Veterans Day parade and walk to Sam Adams Park (Faneuil Hall) where the program will begin at 2pm. After the program our tradition is to gather at Durgin Park restaurant to enjoy a hearty meal and conversation that is free for Veterans.
Thank you and please share with your friends & family.
   ~~Peace~~
