As you know three strong delegations from VFP have been to Okinawa to stand with the people resisting base construction at Henoko and we have had the great honor of meeting Hiroji Yamashiro and seeing him in action. This man and his two co-defendants are very much loved. He has already been imprisoned unjustly for 5 months in very difficult conditions and now they want to put him and the others away for much longer. We can not allow this. I am pleading with every VFP member to go tohttp://noforeignbases.org/ scroll down and on the right you will see the Petition to Drop All Charges Against Arrested Okinawa Anti-Bases Activists.
