Resist Deportations! No Dream, No Deal! No TPS, No Deal! For a Clean Deal for Dreamers and TPS Recipients!-Thursday, February 8, 5:00 – 7 PM, Park Street T stop, Boston MA Boston May Day Coalition

For a Clean Deal for Dreamers and TPS Recipients!

The government in Washington is up to its old tricks-- carrying out a policy of divide and conquer. They are turning to extortion. Over 1 million migrants covered by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program (DACA) and the Temporary Protective Status program (TPS) now face deportation. The deadline to reach a deal to avoid the next government shutdown will be Thursday, February 8. Trump and his cheerleaders in the congress seek to divide families even further, extend the wall between the US and Mexico, and expand the prison population. They seek to shrink migration diversity and close the doors even further on refugees seeking safety from disasters and violence.Washington is leading a generalized assault on our lives, rights, and living conditions. The recent tax cuts for the rich will be at our expense. They are coming after us! More attacks are coming on Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, on unions, women, oppressed nationalities, and LGBT folks, on our environment and education. The leading edge of this assault is the criminalization and attacks on Migrants. The human rights of our migrant sisters and brothers are not negotiable! Our only choice is to build a united, powerful, and fighting movement. Permanent residence for all migrants! Jobs, healthcare, education, and human rights for all!
