This space is dedicated to the proposition that we need to know the history of the struggles on the left and of earlier progressive movements here and world-wide. If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. Donate today! Join the Fair Food Team to help raise $6,000 in the “A Community Thrives” Campaign…

Help us build the future of the Fair Food Program by donating TODAY to the “A Community Thrives” fundraiser!

Building on the momentum generated by last month’s Freedom Fast and Time’s Up Wendy’s March, the Fair Food Nation is launching an online crowdfunding effort to support the Fair Food Program. As a part of the broader “A Community Thrives” Campaign, the Fair Food Program is now in the running to win a grant from the Gannett Foundation — but only if we can reach our goal of $6,000 by May 11th!

Inspired by the broader themes of the “A Community Thrives” Campaign, which seeks to “empower communities to take on local challenges and share issues important to them… building a culture of change agents by empowering communities to connect, act and thrive,” the new fundraiser highlights the Program’s far-reaching impacts not only in the fields, but in the communities and families of farmworkers, including lifesaving health and safety protections as well as economic security and more time with families and children.

We have exactly one month to go, and we need YOUR help.
