In Boston-Regis Tremblay TONIGHT Mon March 20, 7pm "30 Seconds to Midnight"--the film everyone MUST see

[Thanks to David Rolde for sending. Event organized by Joan Livingston, Thanks Joan!]

Regis Tremblay is going to be in Boston tonight

Monday March 20
7pm at the
Community Church of Boston
(565 Boylston St. in Copley Square)

to show his new movie 'Thirty Seconds to Midnight' about the danger of nuclear annihilation of the world because of U.S. imperialism. I haven't had time to watch the whole movie, but I have watched the first half hour, and I think it is a really good anti-imperialist movie. Regis Tremblay is a longtime anti-war activist from Maine. I know him. A lot of us know him. He is probably best known for his 'Ghosts of Jeju' movie about the struggle to stop the construction of the naval base on Jeju Island Korea by the U.S.-puppet South Korean regime and Samsung; The base will be used to advance U.S. imperialist military power in Asia. More recently Regis has traveled to Russia. He has also recently made a short film with interviews with ordinary Russian people. So anyway I am recommending this event tomorrow. Regis will be there to talk and  answer questions. There is a Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/1749653525349032/  . And you can also watch the 'Thirty Seconds to Midnight' movie online on Regis' website at http://registremblay.com/thirty-seconds-midnight-film-everyone-must-see/

Subject: [BostonUNAC] "30 Seconds to Midnight"--the film everyone MUST see: next Monday, 7pm, CCB

A reminder to peace and climate people and groups (please
forward to anyone I’ve missed, and your friends): a reminder.
You should have received more detailed info on Regis Tremblay’s
new film, “30 Seconds to Midnight”—a clear reference to the
Doomsday clock—back in February.*

Just a week away now! Hope you can come and bring many friends to
see this important new film on the three biggest current threats to all
life on the planet: nuclear technology (including nuclear plants, like
Pilgrim); nuclear war; and the ongoing climate catastrophe.

Hoping for a terrific turnout at the Community Church next
Monday: 7pm on, 565 Boylston Street, Boston.
