Grandmothers Against Gun Violence Meeting
April 3rd, 10:30 am
Cape Cod Synagogue,145 Winter Street, Hyannis
Janet Goldenberg, who is Chair of the Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence, will be with us to let us know what is going on to publicize the new ERPO, 'red flag', law and how we can help in the efforts of the Coalition.
Rally at the Rotary
April 14, 11:30-12:30
Hyannis Rotary at Airport Rd
We have found the rallies at the rotary to be an extremely effective tool for spreading our message to a wider audience, especially in the summer. People have joined us because they see us there and we are a constant reminder that we are nowhere near done with the gun violence issue.
If you have never joined us before at the rotary, please do! There is strength in numbers.
You can always find information on our meeting and "Rally" dates at www.capecodgag.org under the "Events"" tab.

Time Magazine's Gun Violence in America
Saturday, May 4, 2019 3-4 PM
Herman Foundation Room
(Meeting Room around the back of the library)
300 Main St., Falmouth, MA
Time Magazine, the artist JR, and a cast of hundreds present us with a fully interactive discussion of gun violence. Touring the country in three major cities, they interviewed gun shot victims, gun owners and enthusiasts, emergency room doctors, activists with opposite points of view and policy makers responsible for finding solutions.
JR, the artist of the piece, said, "The power of the piece is to create conversation. Those conversations might help change the perception we have about a subject. This is how we change the world by bringing back this conversation."
Be sure to bring your earphones, laptops, iPad, or iPhone -fully charged
Sponsored by: Grandmothers Against Gun Violence, Falmouth Gun Safety Coalition and Lower Cape Indivisible
