P.S. Are you aware that the new tax law recently signed by Donald Trump provides less incentive to donate to not-for-profits next year? It is expected that charitable giving may go down. Read this Los Angeles Times story for more details.
I encourage you to think about giving now before the end of the year. Based on the way the new law is constructed, it may make sense for you to support VFP with a large gift today so that you can itemize the gift in your 2017 taxes. Veterans For Peace needs your support today and will continue to need your help next year as we wage peace in the face of rising hate and increased U.S. war-making. Thank you for everything you have done for peace. Next year will be tough, but it will also be an exciting time to demand and end to war and work for a peaceful world.
