When we said this was going to be big, we weren’t kidding.
By now, you should know all about our Mass Rally to Stand Against Poverty. As of tonight, over 4,000 people have said on Facebook that they want to be at our rally in Washington, D.C. on June 23.
But we’re just getting started. We want to shake policymakers to their core by bringing tens of thousands of people to D.C. next week. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re having a coast-to-coast phone banking party tomorrow, Saturday June 16 to spread the word about the mass rally to every. single. member.
People all across the country are getting together in living rooms, community centers, even a tent on the National Mall, all to spread the word using the best ambassadors we have: you.
Don’t worry if you’ve never phone banked before. We’ll provide you with a call script and even dial all the numbers for you.
Your calls will mean the difference between holding ‘just another rally’ and a movement by and for the people that even the most out of touch policymaker can’t ignore.
Forward together, not one step back,
The Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival
