If we can learn from the mistakes made in the past (as well as what went right) we can move forward in the future to create a more just and equitable society. We are on the Brink of War with Iran. Emergency Rally Saturday 1 PM. Massachusetts Peace Action

Dear Al,

We are on the brink of war with Iran. Last night President Trump ordered a military strike that, by the

administration's own estimate, would have killed 150 Iranians. He changed his mind and it was called back with 10 minutes to spare. That's how close we came to a war with Iran. U.S. strikes will lead to retaliation from Iran. An already tense situation could quickly spiral out of control. The time for us to act and organize is now!

Tomorrow, Saturday June 22nd at 1 PM, join us at an emergency rally at Park Street Station. We need a big turnout. We need you to join us! Let us know you're coming.

We need our elected officials to speak out. Call (202) 224-3121 immediately. Demand that your representative to do all they can to prevent this war. Tell them to speak out publicly and unequivocally. The Trump Administration does not have the authority to start a war on its own initiative. Such an action would be unconstitutional, and impeachable.

The Trump administration’s Iran policies created this crisis. His withdrawal from the nuclear agreement, unnecessary sanctions on Iran's economy, and an increase of military force in the region have brought us within a hair's breadth of disaster. Congress must reclaim its constitutional authority and pass legislation to prevent an unauthorized conflict with Iran.
